The Grate System
The new 3-grate system will accomodate most types of hay - from thick and stemmy to fine and leafy hay,
It is important to follow the acclimation instructions, so that the horse
becomes accustomed to the slow feeding process in a calm manner.
You can see the grates in action, on a very cold windy January day in Iowa. The grate prevents the hay from blowing away and provides the horses with a constant, yet restricted amount of forage to stay warm
